Logan and Brisbane Southside · Prep to Year 12
Personalised tutoring
For the learners who try harder than anyone realises.
At Studyroom, we provide 1:1 tutoring across Logan and Brisbane Southside that helps students feel capable, organised, and proud of their progress.
We support Prep to Year 12 students with routines built around how their brain actually works. Whether your child is an anxious or neurodivergent learner needing a confidence boost, or a motivated student aiming for extension, we provide the clear skills and steady progress they need to thrive.

The students who seem behind are often the ones who've given up trying. That's the first thing we fix.
For the parent who's tried everything
Your child isn't the problem. The approach has been.
Most tutoring is built around content. Ours is built around your child.
Your child shuts down the moment schoolwork gets hard
You've tried tutors before and nothing clicked
Homework time ends in tears most nights
Your child says they're stupid and believes it
They have ADHD, ASD, or just learn differently
You're exhausted from trying to help and not knowing how
What's different about us
Not just another tutoring service.
If you've tried tutoring before, here's exactly where we do things differently.
Most tutoring rushes through content.
We slow down until it makes sense. No moving on until your child is genuinely with us.
Most tutors see your child for an hour and disappear.
Our tutors leave session notes. Lily stays involved. You always know how your child is tracking.
Most agencies assign whoever's free.
We match based on your child's needs, year level, and how they actually learn.

The founder
I built Studyroom for us.
When a student seems 'behind,' it’s usually because they’ve learned that not trying is less painful than failing. I know this because I lived it—I was the quiet kid who gave up asking for help to avoid the embarrassment of not 'getting it' like everyone else.
At Studyroom, we don't fix kids; we fix the way they are taught. I’ve built our 1:1 sessions around how a child’s brain actually works, not how a classroom expects it to.
We focus on restoring their confidence first and proving that they aren't 'behind,' they just haven't been given the right map to navigate their learning.

If you are in need of a tutor, I 100% recommend Lily, she is dedicated, friendly and puts in the effort to ensure you get the goals you would like for your schooling! She has helped me so much throughout this year and I wouldnt of been able to get through it without her! Thankyou Lily 🤗🤍”

Common questions
The questions parents usually ask first.
We've tried tutoring before and it didn't work. Why would this be different?
Most tutoring fails anxious or neurodivergent kids because the approach is wrong for their brain — not because they can't learn. We focus on how a child feels in the session first. Confidence comes before content.
Will Lily be my child's tutor?
Depending on availability, sessions may be delivered by one of our tutors — all personally vetted and trained by Lily. Lily is always your main point of contact and stays involved in your child's progress.
My child has ADHD or ASD — do you understand what that means for learning?
Yes. This is a core part of our work. Our approach is built around predictable routines, clear teaching, and a calm environment that reduces anxiety rather than adds to it.
What if it's not a good fit?
We'd rather help you find the right support than force something that isn't working. If a tutor match isn't right, we find a new one. If we're not the right service for your child, we'll tell you that honestly.
